This site is an information service from Philippe Lafontaine. I am both a German and a Portuguese lawyer (Advogado). My office is based in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal.

The main focus of my work is advising private individuals who are relocating to Portugal and the related legal areas (tax regime for the Non-Habitual Resident (NHR), double taxation, Golden Visa, right of residence, purchase or rental of real estate, labour law, etc.), as well as by companies doing business or wanting to do business in Portugal or the Portuguese-speaking (lusophone) countries (corporate law, commercial agency and distribution law, investment law, tax law, labor law).
